On a crisp breezy morning, Bredagh U8.5 boys footballers travelled over to Grosvenor 3G pitches to take part in the annual Davitts tournament.
Through hard work and good team effort, the Bredagh boys topped the group and qualified for the Cup semi-final against St Enda’s. It was a game in which both teams had their periods of dominance. Bredagh eventually ran out the winners due to some well taken goal chances.
In the final, Bredagh met a very talented St Johns team. This …tightly contested match was the highlight of the day with a very high standard of football on display. St Johns ultimately edged the final but not without a very passionate fight back from the Bredagh lads.
