In 1971, 50 Years ago a group of local enthusiasts met to discuss the formation of a new GAA club in South Belfast. It’s thanks to these forward-thinking Gaels and all our volunteers we have grown into one of the largest GAA clubs in both County Down and the province of Ulster!
We have created a brief history of Bredagh in the attached video with the help of some familiar faces. These Bredagh stalwarts tell us the story of our club complimented by a selection of photos and footage of our history.
It is hard to capture 50 years of Bredagh in a 20 minute production. For us it’s more a reminder of where we have come from, where we are now and our plans for the future.
Help us celebrate this milestone in our history by supporting the events we have planned for the year ahead!
We hope you enjoy the story so far…
