The 16th O’Neill’s Ulster GAA Coaching & Games Development Conference will take place on Saturday 9th November 2019 in the Derry GAA Centre, Owenbeg.
The theme of this year’s conference will focus on Developing Hurling and Camogie Performance

Damien Young (Performance Analyst Tipperary Senior Hurlers)
The format of the conference will take a new look in 2019, with two practical sessions being delivered on how to optimize your training to make your team more effective.
Followed by a Discussion with the panel on the breakdown of their session.
There will then be a rotation of workshops during lunch where two workshops will be delivered:
1. on the Basic fitness requirement of a senior player while dealing with multiple workloads.
2. Do the stats add up? what should a club coach focus on.
This will be followed by two keynote presentations on the:
The importance of a structured games programme, linking to the bigger picture and the importance of surrounding yourself with good people.
