Bredagh U14 Footballers win Regional Féile na nÓg

With teams invited from Tyrone, Derry, Meath, Antrim, Armagh, and Down this was always going to be a challenge for the Bredagh U14 boys.

The Bredagh players displayed some wonderful football throughout the tournament, defeating a talented All Saints GAC, Ballymena in the final.

The versatility of many of the Bredagh U14 footballers was ably demonstrated by the fact that no less than 13 of the players got on the scoresheet over the course of the day.

The spirit and committement of these U14 boys was well exemplified by six of the players leaving the Gaeltacht in Rannafast, Co Donegal at 7.30am in the early morning to make the first game in Owenbeg.

Great appreciation to the Derry GAA County Board and in particular Chris Collins for a well run event in the Derry Centre of Excellence, Owenbeg.
